Dog not eating all his food

Just a few days ago, our dog has stopped finishing his food. For a lab/mastiff mix, this is extremely odd behavior. He is acting completely normal otherwise -- still has energy, pooping/peeing, drinking water, etc. He's been on this food for about 2 months. Is this his way of telling us that he doesn't like it anymore? Thinking of switching. Has anyone used Taste of the Wild? I've been reading good things about their High Prairie and Wetlands formulas. Our lab/shepherd went through this phase not too long ago - he normally always ate all his food, and then randomly just didn't. He was completely fine otherwise - this was about a month or two into switching his food also. His dog walker told me that he could just be not hungry, which is fine and was true - he ate it when he needed to. I also ended up starting to either bake/boil chicken breast for him and then shredding it and adding to his food. He also gets wet food, bu wanted to give him some variety, and this has been great so far.

My mastiff has been going through this same issue for about 2 weeks now. We feed him twice a day (morning and nights). All of the sudden he was leaving about half of the food, so now we only feed him at night (around 6pm). He eats the whole thing and looks happy as always.

I didnt have the need to change his food. We give him wellness for large breeds.

My dog gets like this as the weather gets warmer. All winter he devours food, once the warmer weather hits he slows down. He's 9. My cats are the same way.

I just noticed this with Sandy for the past few days. She does this everyonce in awhile.
