High tsh?

Just have a question for you ladies..

I had my first bloods done last night. Beta was 270 which they said was good and progesterone was 46. But my tsh was high I think she said 6.9. So they put me on synthroid to help bring the tsh level back to normal. But I have never had any thyroid issues in the past.

Anyone have experience with this? Hoping to hear some positive outcomes.

I have no personal experience, but I'm sure the dr is doing what's best. You will probably be able to get more info on the pregnancy board. Good luck!

when you are ttc , tsh should be between a 1 and a 2. in a normal person really the tsh shouldn't be much above a 3 so I think its a good thing to catchthis early gl!
