Beach Wedding Attire for DH
My BFF is getting married in Turks Memorial Day weekend. She isn’t having a bridal party, so I am wearing either a long flowy maxi dress or a short blue sleeveless dress.
What should DH wear? I was thinking khakis and a shirt but what kind of shirt?
I know the wedding is casual so he doesn’t need to be in a full suit w/ jacket. If anything I'll pack a sports jacket just in case.
Help please!!! Thanks

DH's cousin got married in Hawaii a few years back. I wore a bright pink cocktail dress, and DH wore seersucker pants with palm trees (I kid you not) and a white polo. So with that said, I'm sure your DH could get away with a polo shirt.

DH wore linen pants and a short sleeved Cubavera shirt. (he calls them the Charlie Harper's) and boat shoes at the Aruba beach wedding of our friend's daughter.
eta : no sports jacket - too hot for the beach.

eta : no sports jacket - too hot for the beach.
I was going to mention this type of shirt. I know it as a "guayabera" and they are worn in tropical weather. They are nice and dressy.
