Feeling the love today..
I have to say that being "out" as infertile has made such a difference in how today is going. It's hard to see all the mother's day posts. But I have seen so many posts from friends and family that honor ALL women today. Moms, those trying to become moms, those who lost a baby, those who are like moms to people in their life, etc. To think that my struggle has made that much of an impact on the people in my life is very touching. I have received so many messages, emails, texts today - it's overwhelming.
This morning I spent a good 15 minutes crying in the shower. Trying to get it all out so I can face the day. I guess I didn't need to.
Today I have decided to count yet another one of my many blessings. I am surrounded by so many who acknowledge my journey and are standing right there with me. And that includes all of you.

Phyllis- you are awesome and so inspirational. Today really is about all women and should not just be limited to mothers. Well said

Exactly this. Many of my friends and family know what's going on- just bc the stress of keeping it quiet was hurting me more. I feel much better. I've also gotten fb messages texts etc from my good friends. It definitely helped. ;)

I sent out Mothers Day greeting to many people at different stages of motherhood, like you speak of Phyllis. I know some ladies who, for a variety of reasons are not mothers at this moment to human children, but have fabulous furry children.
Right now I am not the mother yet to a human baby, but I am the mother to the best four legged kid in the world.

That is wonderful that people have been so great today. I noticed many posts on FB sending love to Moms and women trying to have a baby. It was very comforting knowing IF awareness is really getting out there. Dr. Seckin wrote a beautiful post about women with endo/IF and the difficulty of today. It was very heartwarming.

Thats nice. I got some love today too from the few friends who know what is going on. My mom is also super supportive having gone through IVF herself.
