Seeking Dr. Recommendation
Does anyone have a good doctor (general practice and gastroenterologist, if possible) in the Eastern Suffok area? I'd even be willing to travel a bit farther for someone who is a good doctor.
My mom's Dr. is no longer accepting her insurance and I'm looking for someone also. We really don't want to just pick someone out of a book.

I second Dr. O'Brien.
Further out east (in Port Jeff I think), Dr. Rosario Romano is good.
Even further out east, Dr. George Ruggiero is supposed to be very good also.
For a GI, Dr. Isabelle Von Althen at Stony Brook is very good.
