Bob-o-pedic questions
DH and I need a new mattress, and a few people have races about memory foam mattresses
We went to look at the bob-o-pedic today and I have a few questions:
Does anyone have either the gel or the cirrus? What are your thoughts?
Also, does anyone have it split? They said it can be half firm half plush, bc we both like different things. does it change how it wears?

Re: Bob-o-pedic questions
I am not a fan of Bob's, I've gotten a bed there and had it exchanged twice. Then had it break, to have it replaced. So IMO I would look at a real mattress store. I have a sealy mattress that is the best thing to sleep on. I LOVE it!

Bob-o-pedic questions
I have a King Bob-O-Pedic. We got it before the Cooling Gel type was offered.
I love our bed and have had no issues. The common complaint with any foam mattress is that it retains heat. So if you or your DH get hot while you sleep then I would recommend getting the cooling gel mattress.

Re: Bob-o-pedic questions
We have the gel bob-o-pedic. I really like it, we've had it since September and it's still super comfortable. It is a little on the hot side though. I hate being hot when I sleep and it's a little annoying, although it doesn't keep me up. I think I could solve a lot of the issue by purchasing a different, more breathable, blanket.
I would definite recommend the mattress. I also liked that you could pick it up directly from the store (it comes all packed up in a box) to avoid the delivery fee.

Re: Bob-o-pedic questions
We have a Bob-o-pedic & love it. We've had it for 2 years I think?... I don't remember a gel being offered when we got ours. We have the mattress where both sides are the same firmness. The mattress has held up better than any other mattress we've ever owned & when this one goes....we're getting another!

Bob-o-pedic questions
I have had my Bob o pedic since 2010. Gel was not an option back then.
We thought about split but got the firm and it has softened up since we got it but not as soft as the plush. So just know when you lay on the floor models that they are softer due to wear.

Re: Bob-o-pedic questions
We have had ours for almost a year. We have the cooling gel version and all I can say is that I don't find the mattress to get hot/retain heat. I love it and have absolutely no complaints. We have the same firmness on both sides though, so I can't speak about the wear.

Re: Bob-o-pedic questions
We have one too.
Honestly, they should stop selling their other throwaway furniture and just go with these.
No complaints here at all.
A quality item at an affordable price.
