Seriously, I am THAT person with the cracked heels this season. EWWWW! This has never happened to me before and I need to figure out how to fix it? A pedi helps for like a day and then its back, Ive been putting vaseline on them every night with socks....not helping. Ive been using a pumice stone, not helping!

What do I do????

Use coconut oil or castor oil and cover with socks.

look for a moisturizer or liniment cream that contains urea. i recommend you put it on the affected area and wrap your heels in plastic wrap overnight.

Re: Cracked heels?!?!?!

I have this problem at the moment also. It was really bad a few weeks ago, but it's better now. I soaked my feet in warm water, honey, lemon juice, and salt for about 20 mins. I did this a few times a week at night. I then used Scholl's cracked heel repair cream and put socks on over it. It doesn't hurt anymore, so that's good.

I use a pumic in the shower, then I use cetaphil when I get out of the shower. I find the thicker the lotion the better

My bf gets this bad and he has to get paraffin wax pedicures monthly and swears by gold bond medicated location under socks in between. I have to say that stuff seems to cure everything!

I totally want to try this. But the whole foot peeling for 3 days sounds gross especially in the summer!

Re: Cracked heels?!?!?!

I had this problem over the winter. There is a product called Sole Magic Foot Smoothing Pad (maybe another brand) that I found at Bed Bath (I saw it by the register)...get 2 because it wears out after using it a few times. During a shower/bath, scrub your feet with this sponge. Apply lotion/cream before putting on your socks. Do this every time you bathe. I hope it works for you!
