average cost of wrought iron railings?

Does anyone know the cost of wrought iron railings? We got our steps done a month or so ago and we need to install a railing eventually (since we have 5 steps and I believe its illegal not to have one), just wanted to get an idea of how much they typically go for. TIA!

I had them done last year. They will need to be fabricated to the measurements of your new steps. Mine were $1500 which included the installation. The place I had them made had less expensive railings to choose from but the protective finishes wouldn't last that long without having to be painted/coated and warranties weren't as good as the one I choose. Just something to think about since they can be pricey.
