If you have surround sound (and/or Sonos), I have a question for you...
I don't know ANYTHING about this stuff. I just wanted to preface my questions. Never had surround sound before.
The house we moved into has wires already installed in the wall for surround sound. The speakers are already built into the wall. Can we just hook them into the tv so the sound comes through the speakers? Or do we need to buy a system?
And what is the deal with Sonos? Could I use the existing wires and speakers to hook up to a Sonos system? Is Sonos only for music? Or could I use the tv for that too?
I find all of this confusing....

If you have surround sound (and/or Sonos), I have a question for you...
We just bought our first Sonos components yeTerday and haven't hooked it up yet but I do know you can use it for tv as well as music - but not sure if you need the tv play bar or if the regular speakers will work too
