Anyone refaced their kitchen cabinets?
W just purchased a new home, and while the kitchen had been redone about 6 years ago, the cabinet style and finish is really not my taste,
I was considering possibly refacing them since they layout is good and the cabinets are in great shape, I just don't like them lol. Also the granite is nice, so I obviously don't want to redo the whole kitchen.
Anyone done this. Was is expensive? Take a long time?

We used Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations when we moved into our house. It is time consuming because there are several steps but there's no sanding. We have a lot of cabinets and used the large kit…I think it was around $150 at Home Depot. Totally worth it.

I had it done in my old house. It was very expensive and to be honest I wasn't crazy about them. I used Kitchen Magic.

Here is a link where I described how it all went...scroll down for my response with details - Refacing details
And here are before and after photos: Pictures!
Would do it again in a heartbeat. Two years later and I am still thrilled with the results, and I am always cooking in the kitchen so the sink, doors and drawers get a lot of use. No wear and tear showing at all!!
