Re: what are u doing to lower a high FSH
When my endo flared, my hormones would get high.. My estrogen would get really high along with my FSH. Things I did to lower my flare ups and therefore lower the hormones-- Acupuncture Gluten free or gluten light 1000mg fish oil Pycnogenol 50-100mg Ubiquanol 200mg Vitamin D 2000iu It all helped a ton with my natural cycles and IUIs but not with my IVF cycles. For some reason, I could never produce eggs on high levels of stims no matter how low my FSH got.

High FSH doesn't harm your cycle. High FSH is an indicator that your ovaries are being stubborn due to low reserve and your brain has to keep pumping hormones to get them to respond. They have done studies to see if waiting for a lower FSH helps outcomes, and it doesn't. Once it's high, it's high.
What you do want to watch out for is high day-3 estrogen, which can mean that your body has started to pick a dominant follicle (happens earlier as ovaries age and can really screw up an IVF) and that's all about your downregulation protocol (estrogen priming, birth control, lupron, etc.)
I know it stings when FSH is high but I hate to see girls waste a lot of energy getting that number down when it doesn't really help. Acu is great for stress and improved blood flow. CoQ10 is promising for egg quality. Antioxidant therapy too. Those are places to invest your energy if you want to do something extra to help. Good luck!!

Unfortunately, this does make sense. However, I was on CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) for many months before my first IVF along with cutting out Gluten for a year. I made great quality Embies, but unfortunately, there were chromosomal abnormalities; and I M/C. And I did Accupuncture 3 months prior. It's all a friggin' crap shoot and the luck of the draw; so I'm told!! Hate it!
