I am 7 months pregnant, our office's mailbox is the bottom box and I have to squat to get the mail out. It's getting tougher to get up. I asked someone to get it for me (I'm the office manager mind you and this was my 25 year old receptionist) and I got attitude. Then my medical biller says "what you're not disabled bend your knees you don't even look pregnant". I can't tell you how aggravating that comment is to me. It's so rude!!!!!! I really feel like punching these people today.

Ok I'm glad I'm not alone in this one. I've let a lot of crap from these girls slide, but apparently me (again, as the OFFICE MANAGER) asking this younger girl to grab something for me because I'm not comfortable bending down sent both of them over the edge. Let me tell you, that biller is lucky she still has a job. Grrrr I'm so upset right now I could spit.

I hate asshole staff. I am pretty visibly pregnant and so far the assistants have been cleaning my treatment rooms for me, taking out my garbage and helping me with everything and I never even asked. I'm so sorry they are being like that to you. I would talk to the boss about this if they aren't willing to help a little bc the bending and lifting will only get more difficult the further along you are.

I agree! At 35.5 weeks if it falls on the floor it's probably staying there, and half of the time if the potty seat is on the toilet I just sit on it and pee, rather than bend down to take it off.  I save my bending down for essential moments like getting DS on/off the potty and pulling his pants back up if he refuses to do it himself

I swear people can be at opposite extremes when your pregnant. You have the idiots that have no clue like the girl at your job or the ones who are questioning and picking at every little thing we do. Was it really that hard for her to bend down to get your mail?

So sorry this happened :( people are a-holes! You should make her get the mail daily- you're a manager. I had a very nice coworker switch lockers with me (I had a bottom locker) and I'm planning on giving it to a fellow pregnant coworker (super newly pregnant) when I go out on leave so she doesn't have to bend. People just don't get it!!! I have only gained 5lbs, but my belly is huge and even if it wasn't, it's just a different distribution of weight, which throws off your balance and makes bending hard!!!

this day just gets better and better, lol... I always put my feet up on the bottom shelf of this crappy desk I sit at to elevate my feet (since that's what you're supposed to do) and the shelf just fell down. I can't help but laugh!

Pregnant or not that is just rude. If someone asked me for help with something like that I woud do it no questions asked. It is just common curtesty. Not like you are her for a kidney or to donate some PTO days here!

OMG, then I get home to our gas shut off by national grid because of a "gas leak" found at our meter.... why didn't they call me?!?!? Why didn't they FIX IT?!?!?
