Question about certification
I have my initial certification but need to apply for professional. They said I need to do a list of things, including the following workshops:
Autism
Childhood workshop
Bullying workshop
School violence
I did workshops when going for my initial certification. Are these all different? Also, how do I find out when/where they are offered?

You need to do the DASA (bullying) training to get your initial certification.
You can take it through BOCES.

Or the UFT
Dasa and childhood are new and need to be taken. Your undergrad college should have record of other two.

Call Eastern Suffolk BOCES and ask for the Certification Department. They can tell you everything and help you finalize your new certification. They helped me when I was upgrading mine.
