when do you start registering for school for your leap year baby?
i was chatting with another mom in queens and she said that her leap year ds starts kindy at 4 (so she was registering when he was 3) but i thought we don't start registering until 4? so confused....does anyone know if it's different between queens and nassau?  TIA!

Leap year baby? Meaning a birthday on 2/29? If so, I don't understand why the rules would change. Kindergarten for Feb babies starts when they are 5 (it's only later in the year birthdays that could be affected by location).

My son will start at 4 bc his birthday is October. I won't register at 3 though, I'll register the spring before, he will be 4 then.
