Rs of NY -Vent
When I cycled with them January 2013 no matter what time my appointment was I would come in at 6:30am and for the most part would be in and out. This place is terrible now when it comes to scheduling.
If this cycle doesn't work I am transferring my frozen embryos elsewhere. This place is a nightmare compared to January of last year.

I stopped going to them for a few reasons and one was bc of the long wait times monitoring and for iui! I switched to liivf and it's so much better and much more personable!

I feel your pain. I was going to ask you how you don't get pissed when there because it frustrates me like you wouldn't believe.
I find most of the staff difficult to deal with. You cant get answers and Im sure they think Im crazy but dealing with billing is.... I call and Lm and no one calls back...they never pick up the phone, it can be an unprofessional office at time they don't care. FYI they did mess up my arrival time for the ER. Sorry using your post to vent

Totally unprofessional; Dr Trivax is what keeps me going. He's helped me much after so many failed cycles (elsewhere) I have my 13 month old. Alot nurses(regular ones not NPs) I've come across this go around were not there weren't there last year when I was there. According to my insurance co they are not a Center of Excellence anymore; I see why now.

I may have to look into LI IVF if this doesn't work. I've been reading a lot on this board how happy people are with them. Hopefully I won't have to switch and these bad boys stick.

My insurance company just gave me the same news, not an office of excellence. They don't seem to care
I think the office of excellence has to do with outcome from Tx and not so much behavior??

I totally hear you. I just posted about the issue of the wait times. Many people tell me they are in and out of LI IVF which really makes them appealing, I'm just trying to figure out logistically how I can go there.

I'm telling you, all the good staff were really pregnant when I stopped monitoring in June/July. The new people must suck big time!

they still have the older long term RN and the once preg ones are back. The support staff is a nightmare.

I think a lot of their better staff followed San Roman to NSLIJ Smithtown. He had A LOT of people go with him from what I understand.

I'm really upset to hear this. I too cycled the same time and will be starting again with trivax in the near future. It's already stressful and to deal with crap like calls and snotty nurses is uncalled for. Where is liivf?

The wait was the worst, I always took the latest monitoring apt. I could get and would regularly be there an hour sometimes more. Anyone know if Lise /Lisa the nurse still work there? I'm glad Trivax could help someone.. All that cute face did was waste my time &$$$

Which office are you going to? I go to the one in stony brook and have had some days where it's very crowded and they get behind and other days where I'm in and out in twenty minutes.
I've only been going for a little over a month and haven't had any major problems but you guys are making me nervous.

One of the reasons I left was because of monitoring wait times. I would get there at 630 and sometime would not get out until 8-830. It became ridiculous.

Re: Rs of NY -Vent
Seriously. I just switched from there too. I was late for work all the time because of them. I went over the summer for a 7 dpo progesterone check and was there for over 90 minutes. 90 minutes so I could walk into the back room, stick my arm out for 30 seconds, and be done. Ugh.
And I had 2 miscarriages under their care this year and the way they treated me was APPALLING. Doctors and nurses both. I guess they see it every day and aren't fazed by it, but they have to grow some compassion if this is their business. A week after my D&C I went in for a sono to make sure that the procedure was a success and that my uterus was empty. It was. They made me wait for an hour, handed my chart to a doctor, and she shook her head at me sympathetically and said, "I'm sorry about your loss. Did you want to have a D&C or let this pass naturally?" I told her that the reason I was there was that I'd had a D&C a week earlier. She laughed and said, "oops! Guess I should read your chart!" Um. Yeah. That would have been a good start.
