Nassau County Tax Offer

I disputed the assessment on my home and I received an offer to reduce the assessment, but I have no idea what I am even looking at. For anyone that has gotten this offer, can you help me?

it's junk- I got like 5 already from a bunch of firms trying to get me to sign with them. They will save you on your taxes, but then you have to pay them like 40-50% of what they save you. For example, if you save $2,500 on your taxes for the year, you'll owe the firm like $1000-$1250.

What offer did you receive? If you received an official offer from the assessment review commission (ARC), it's a boba fuse offer. If it is not directly from that office it's junk

Are you happy with what they are offering? I believe you either need to sign & agree or if you still disagree, then it goes to court. Did they lower it at all?

ETA If I remember correctly, they just send you the new assessment number, (its like a 900 or low thousand number)? You cant actually figure out your taxes from this number. Basically they take that number, and multiply it by the full county tax bill to calculate your share of taxes. Did this make any sense? Let me know if not. : )
