25 weeks - breathing?
Hi All - I am 25 weeks pregnant and I am noticing that I can't really take deep breaths - and when i eat, I feel like the food just sits in my upper stomach and puts pressure - I feel great when I first wake up but as I eat and drink I notice this - anyone else experience this? I am carrying very high and from what I've read on the internet, the baby can put pressure on all the organs including diaphragm causing this difficulty- I go to DR tomorrow morning for an appointment anyway, so I will discuss then - thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Re: 25 weeks - breathing?
It's totally normal, and it will probably get worse from here. Just eat small meals and keep breathing!

Yup, sounds familiar. That only gets worse. Keep it to small meals, that will help... And eat slowly.

Re: 25 weeks - breathing?
yep, I have this too, TMI but I can feel the food coming back up if I eat too much, its like it is sitting in the esophagus until my stomach has enough room to digest it

I've done that! no nausea or anything and I just end up vomiting whatever I just ate.
