Breathing trouble...@31 weeks....

I feel like I smoked a carton of unfiltered cigarettes...it is hard for me to catch my breath today...

It is not earth shattering, but slightly uncomfortable..anyone else?

I am 21 weeks and this just started happening when I go up steps. I am afraid that my asthma that hasn't bothered me since I was a child is kicking in.

unfortunately, breathing problems are sometimes a side effect. things in your belly/chest are getting squishyer as the baby gets larger. there is simply less room for your lungs to expand...

try to take it a little easy...it will get better once the baby 'drops'.

if you are having major issues - speak to the doc!!!

I had this my first pregnancy starting at about 30 weeks. This time it started by 27 weeks--about a week ago.

Re: Breathing trouble...@31 weeks....

I am 33 weeks and for the last several weeks I have had trouble catching my breath.

I am actually a corporate trainer and do a lot of talking and find myself winded a lot after I speak. I have to tell my groups that I currently have a baby pressing on my lung capacity!

I think this is completely normal.

Ill be 32 weeks on Monday and definitely feel short of breath a lot. Doing the simplest things makes me short of breath. Im carrying pretty low too so I can only imagine if the baby were higher, I really would have trouble breathing.
