how to keep bagels fresh?
i just bought some bagels that i plan on using tomorrow morning. the thought of going to the bagel store early tomo morning with my kids gives me anxiety so i bought them today.
how do i keep them fresh??

wrap them in a paper bag and then wrap that bag in a plastic bag. Get as much air out as possible. They will probably be fine but you might want to toast them in the morning.

This is what I do. Just paper and they dry out, just plastic and they get soggy.

after they cool store them in a plastic bag or you can freeze them, take the AM of.

We do this too.
We also freeze and defrost the bagels if we plan on eating them more than a day or two later.
