Ectopic girls...
Hi I am back with another question or panicky moment. My ectopic surgery was 8/6 and he saved my tube. I did have my left side removed which was blocked up and not repairable. I had an hsg done in October and that ectopic tube is clear and ready to go. However during the HSG, there was small leak on the left side where he removed my tube. He said it may not be healed yet. He didn't seem worried but I AM!
So also - I just had a chemical pregnancy and I don't know why but I am so panicky something is in my tube. I had a TON of symptoms and then got a very faint BFP. Went in for bloodwork 2 days later and HCG was a 4. I started bleeding heavy later that night and it was over. Ugh.
Anyway the bleeding & cramping has stopped but I am still so tender. I keep having all these sharp twinges but more so on my left side, the side that was blocked and removed. What is that about?! I am 3 months post op, do I just give it more time?
Also the nurse I spoke to at my office said I should take another pregnancy test this week just to check that its negative and to put my mind at ease there is nothing going on with this chemical bc I basically called her crying and in a frantic state. She said I had every right to feel that way and to come right in if I feel any pain anywhere. She knows my whole history, etc.
Anyway I guess I just need to put my mind at ease, I am so scared this will happen again - an ectopic. I mean I am prepared to deal with it and know what it entails. We don't want to do IVF, my dr thinks we have a good chance or conceiving naturally and urged us to try.
Also do you think that small leak on the left is weird? It freaks me out!

Re: Ectopic girls...
did they ever do bloodwork one more time to make sure that your HGG of 4 actually went down to 0 and didn't jump up? i had a chemical right after my ectopic and i was so paranoid about it all too but they kept testing my HCG to make sure it really did go down. i'm sure all is okay but if it helps you feel better ask them to run bloods one more time.
