Need to vent!!

Ugh it's been one thing after another today!

First off, the raise i was waiting on for the last several months is being put on hold. I was a part of a two person team for years and as of February, it's been just me doing the job alone. I was told in Sept my title/pay would be changing to finally reflect these changes. I was so happy this was happening, especially after finding out i was was pregnant last month. I thought it was perfect to get the new pay rate before having to drop the pregnancy bomb. Now i fear i won't get it since i'll be going public in the next few weeks. Now I'm trying to figure out a way to use the pregnancy as leverage to maybe get a more flexible schedule due to the overworked/underpaid situation.

Then they started bathroom renovations on my floor this week. Perfect for the pregnant lady who has to pee 100932472 times a day. Now i need to go up or down a floor once an hour when nature calls :( This is likely to be under construction till the new year *at the minimum*

Then the cherry on top, my manager decided to have a little happy hour in the office today at 5:30 to thank everyone for their hard work on an event from last week. GREAT! Nothing like the gift of booze to make a pregnant lady feel appreciated. Just wish this week was over with.

Sorry! Can they put in writing when you will receive the raise/title change? That would be the best way to hold them to it.

That's what I'm aiming to do going forward. Hoping i can keep my hormones in check to keep me from flying off the handle before that point!
