ETA- I don't like hibachi, but I eat at these restaurants at regular tables and they also have hibachi areas.

I really like Showa in wantagh. we went to Shiro last night and I really didn't care for it. the food was terrible

Mt. Fuji in Wantagh is my favorite. I have been to Showa and we all got sick.
Tai Show in Levittown and Massapequa are also good.
