Small Sofa/Bed, Trundle Bed Options?
Uggghhhhh.....I cannot make a decision about a "guest" sleeping option.
Newer homeowner here 
My front room is our DS playroom (only child...prob one and done....or 5 years from now...lol) so it will stay a playroom. We have most of it on one side of the room with enough room for either a pull out couch or a day bed/trundle type sleeper.
Anyone have any good suggestions for a small sleeper sofa that you like?
Trundle bed with good reviews?
EDITED TO ADD: The entrance to the room is at a corner that I'm not too sure a large couch would clear...that's why I was leaning towards something that is in parts.
I don't want to spend $$$$ (but I know sometimes you get what you pay for).
Another part of me says screw guests! We don't have them often.....maybe a high-end air mattress??

Small Sofa/Bed, Trundle Bed Options?
We have one of those double height air beds, a queen coleman pillow top and its really comfortable. I think it was like $90 and its definitely more comfortable than our guest room bed.

I have a pull out from Bob's that I LOVE LOVE LOVE. It pulls out to a full. We have clearance issues so while I would have loved a queen I could only fit a full. There are not that many choices out there.
At bob's you can get the regular spring mattress for the couch or upgrade to the Bob O Pedic. I highly rec the the Bob O pedic. My parents visit for weeks at a time and love it. I slept on it at the end of my pregnancy to be closer to the bathroom and it was comfy.

It looks like the day we bought it. I have had it for almost 5 years. Its not used daily and IMO not the prettiest couch...I would not have it in my living room! But it has been better than I could have expected for the cost and what we use it for.
We joke all the time that there is no way you would ever think the bed would be comfy...the mattress is about as think as a piece of felt!!!! LOL
My sister just bought one cause my parents said how comfy it is.

Small Sofa/Bed, Trundle Bed Options?
We have a day bed and trundle. IMO, sofa bed are so uncomfortable. IKEA sells a nice day bed set, forget the name though. Mattresses are "bed in a box" from Walmart...super comfy and inexpensive.

I think a pull out couch would be the best option design wise to the eye. Plus, if it's a playroom, your dc can use it to sit.
