Did you register with your 2nd if there was a gap?

DS and DC2 will be 4 years apart. I don't want nor do I expect a shower but is it in bad taste to register?

I partially want to for the completion coupon because there are a few things we will need.

You don't have to tell anyone that you're registering
I created a small registry to keep track of what I want to buy new (not a huge age gap, but still 3.25 years), and did not tell anyone about it (well, except everyone on LIF now, lol).

There will be an almost 4 year gap between my kids. I made a board on Pinterest of all the things I need to restock on. I need to get the infant car seat out of storage and make sure it won't expire shortly.

I never even thought to make a registry! Hmm.....

my kids will be 5.5 years apart. I'm remarried and having my DH's first kid. My first is a boy and this is a girl. I'm registered AND having a shower! :)

We did just so I would remember what I wanted and didn't tell anyone but people looked and bought anyway..

I decided not to be showered but registered to keep track and for the discounts :). No one knows about it except the people who have asked.

Only 2 yrs apart but I'm not registering. I really only need to buy new sheets and nipples for the bottles. I have so mch that's still good but if there was a larger age gap I would register

I will have a 4 yr 3 mth age gap between my kids and they are different genders. I created a registry on BBB to keep track of things I need to re-purchase like bottles, nipples, pacifiers and to add in some boy related items.

Plus, there are some new products out now that were not around when I had DD that I really want to get for DS like the FP Rock and Play. I also need a new activity mat and would like a new monitor.

I am not sure if I am having a sprinkle and if my immediate family asks me what they can get I will point them to the registry. But I don't plan on telling the world about it.

Registering sounds like a good idea, even if just to keep track of what you want/need and then you can purchase it yourself with the completion discount after the baby is born!

I would register. People will search anyway if they want to buy you something and it helps if you have a list. I have a friend who had 3 kids and she would register for a few thing for every kid and for her 2nd and 3rd everything would get bought. I just don't know about a second shower. Maybe a sprinkle from close friends and family.

I never did. I didnt feel right about it. Regardless I did get a surprise sprinkle (totally unexpected) but diid get a few things. There will be about a 4 year age gap between my kids.

I never did. We reused whatever we had from J with E. There is a 3 year age difference between the two.

The only things we bought new the 2nd time around were new bottle set and a rock n play because we never had one with J and I heard great things about it. Other than that...everything got passed on.

We did a low key sprinkle for my second (1.5 years apart, different gender) at my sister's place (only family).

Only asked for clothes & a new bedding set. Many got me gift cards, which was awesome!

Will def do the same for my sister, expecting her 2nd of different gender.

I didn't have a shower with my first pregnancy and won't with my second either. The kids will be 2.5 years apart, but I plan on registering b/c I have a boy and am now expecting a girl so I will need some new things and I know I'll be getting some gifts.

My DD are 4.5 years apart and I did register to keep track of things and get the discount. My mom and MIL threw me a sprinkle and people bought everything off the registry although I did not expect that to happen.

Yes, my kids are 4 years apart and are boy/girl. I had a sprinkle and definitely registered. People were so grateful to have ideas of what to buy!

i register for myself on amazon because you get 15% off your registery and also babiesrus because you get 10% and its close to my house. i am having my 3rd kid and this time its a girl after the 2 boys and everyone is asking what i need so i tell them i have a list registered for myself if they want to take a look. at least do it for the discount every bit helps

I am but only for the purpose of the discount. They will be 4 years apart. I'm not telling anyone about it though. People were overly generous to me the first time around.
