Please Recommend your Crock Pot
Hi All- I usually go to Amazon reviews for questions like this, but I haven't been trusting their reviews lately. Anyway, please recommend your crock pot...brand and size. Thanks

I have this one CrockPot
I got it at Target. you set the time you want it to cook for and when the time is up, it automatically switched to warm. I love it, use it all the time - especially in the winter.

I have this one...
Hamilton Beach Crock Pot
I like that the top locks on, and that it has a lot of options for the temperature and time combinations. I used the probe once and it might be good if I was going to be home to take it out once it was done.

I have this one - http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/all-clad-deluxe-slow-cooker-with-aluminum-insert/
I love it because the insert can be used on the stove, so if the recipe calls for browning meat or veg on the stove prior to slow-cooking, you don't need to dirty another pan.
I think there might be some other companies that make stove-safe inserts now... when I got it, this was the only one on the market.

Re: Please Recommend your Crock Pot
I got this one a few months ago and I really like it. It doesn't have the fancy timers but I love that it latches closed bc it really seals tightly to keep the heat in which is the whole point of a slow cooker. hamilton beach slow cooker

Re: Please Recommend your Crock Pot
I have an all-clad one. It was $$ but I use it a LOT. I love that the insert can be used on the stove top as well.
I recommend getting one that has an insert that can be used on the stove top and one that switches over to "warm" when it is done cooking. Also if you get one with an aluminum insert, make 1-2 fake meals with it before you use it for real. This gets the aluminum flavor out of it. Just throw in any liquids you may have and old veggies or meats you have around.

I have the Ninja 3-in-1 cooking system and it seriously changed my life!!! You can sear your meat to lock in the juices and then set it to the slow cooker setting just like a regular slow cooker except it's all done in 1 pot. It also has an oven setting. I got it last year for christmas and make most of my meals in there. I'm seriously obsessed!!
