Re: Recommend your Crock Pot?

i say any crock pot that lets you remove the "pot"

makes it easier to serve and to wash

But my mom has one by Hamilton Beach (6 quart) and she loves it. She's had it for a few years now and it work great.

Re: Recommend your Crock Pot?

I want the Williams Sonoma one b/c you can brown meat in the insert, and then just stick it right in the heating mechanism, rather than having two pans.

Re: Recommend your Crock Pot?

I have an all clad one and love it. However my sister is on her 2nd one. The first just stopped working and now ehr 2nd one has a top that doesn't fit securly. So for those reasons I dunno fi I'd recommend it to anyone. I would say to get one that will turn automatically to a warm setting after it is done cooking, that way if you get home after it is done, it will still be warm for you to eat.

ETA: the all clad I have is with the ceramic insert, not the one that goes on the stove as well. So i can't comment on that one.
