Got some answers about DH
DH went for a scrotal sonogram yesterday, and we got the results back- he has a small varicocele on the left teste and a small cyst on the left side . We have a follow up appointment to discuss the SA and blood work, but at least we have some answers for now. Anyone's DH ever have this?

Re: Got some answers about DH
DH had a varicocele on his testicle. He had the surgery to fix it. If he had to do it again, he would probably not have the surgery. It did not improve his count and his recovery period was longer than expected.
How are your DH's SA coming back? Do you have IVF coverage?

We haven't gotten the SA back although I did email his urologist 2x for the results who eventually said it's "not terrible" . They're waiting on blood work to see how his testosterone level is. Then we're going for a followup.
No coverage here, we've been oop. DH started on a regimen of vitamins and quit smoking (1 month smoke-free), and we'll see in 3 months how the repeat SA is. DH is indifferent on the surgery, he wants the doctor's opinion before making any decisions. All we do know is that we want to do a "Hail Mary" pass IUI in the spring.

Re: Got some answers about DH
My DH produced no sperm before and no sperm after. Luckily, he froze sperm before his chemotherapy so we used that.
I think with at least some sperm, an IUI is definitely an option and can be successful. Good Luck!
