Another RS of NY vent
I told the nurses last week Friday I was running low on Lovenox and that I was going to request a script from CVS Caremark so they will send you(RSofNY) a request for an approval. Monday I called RS of NY after getting notification from CVS Caremark that they are waiting for an approval(left message on the nurses line and requested a call back). Let's fast forward to yesterday was in the office for progesterone check and sonogram I told the nurse tonight is my last Lovenox dose I need more and explained how this has been an issue since last Friday. She grabbed the form and said she will do it now and also requested my PIO since that's getting low.
Kraupner called me last night to set up delivery for the PIO. They have no request for Lovenox. Ok schedule that delivery for tonight.
This morning I called RS of NY and I'm getting "the office is closed" speech. WTF...I left a message in the night mail box and told them just to call it in to my local cvs ASAP. This is bull. I don't need this stress and aggravation.

Unreal!!! I cannot believe that shit. I would call and ask to speak to your dr asap. Call the other locations. Someone is open. And throw a friggin fit about it. Also tell them that you are calling FROM cvs. Maybe that'll light a fire.

thats how they operate, its no surprise even though they are trying to convince people they put patients care first they dont have a clue and they dont care.

Thanks ladies. I got a call back from one of the nurses who claims they authorized the prescription on Wednesday(crap) because prior to the nurse calling back I had called cvs Caremark that stated they sent a second request yesterday for approval and as of the moment I was on the phone with cvs they did not receive it. The nurse calls back and states she is now submitting the order and they will deliver it early next week. I said to her its obvious you did not listen to a word I said because I told you I was completely out of the Lovenox and need it for today's injection. She then had to call me back. CVS then calls and states they just received the authorization and want to schedule delivery. I explained to them I need the medication today. They are delivering it to my job today. Relieved but RS of NY really messed up with this.

I'm very sorry about your meds an experience. But Ty so much for sharing. I HATE RSofNY an thought it was me. Like I caught crazy an can not express enough how nice it feels to not be alone in the unprofessional an rude doctors.
