Grout Down the Sink

Apparently my contractors tiler did not know this - ruined my sink, garbage disposal, and cemented my main line so when I went to use my washing machine it flooded my basement with waste water. This is the same tiler that did such a crappy job on my glass tile it had to be done over four times and still isnt right. I we t with a major south shore contractor to avoid these problems :( now instead of moving back in we are weeks away from moving home.

Omg! That's really bad. I would put a complaint in to the department of consumer affairs! someone doing tile should know this! Maybe he needs his license suspended! I'd probably expect the GC to cover all damages
My DH owner a home improvement company for many years, they have insurance for this type of stuff.

I don't know what you should do but I can't believe people who do this type of work don't know better!!! Several years ago my parents had a plumber dump cement down their bathtub drain. Somehow it didn't cause major problems but it really could have.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this! I would definitely report it to whoever you report construction issues to. Are they going to foot the bill for the repairs?
