Thoughts on LA Fitness?
I am thinking about joining (I currently use Planet Fitness).
Anyone here go to Lake Grove or Port Jeff and can give me feedback?

My cousin loves LA fitness I also have another friend who does as well
Do you have a Lucille Roberts near you? I went with them because their gold membership is only $16 a month and you can go to all their locations (easier for meeting friends and switching it up a little) and they have tons of classes all the time. I also like the fact that it's only women.
May be worth looking into.
But I've heard good things about LA fitness

Thoughts on LA Fitness?
I'm in FL, but I've been a member since 2007 and like it. They have a good class selection, ample equipment and i use their childcare service on occasion . I pay $30/mo

I go to both locations but the location I signed up at is port Jeff. I take the classes at all the locations though. I absolutely love the classes. I have gotten into such great shape since I've been taking about 5 classes a week :). Let me know if you join! It's always fun to take a class

I don't go, but have a few friends that do. They love it. They prefer Pt Jeff Station to Lake Grove, probably because it's newer.

This is my gym, I go the one in Farmingdale/Melville (Rte 110). I like it - I don't know about the classes but the showers and locker rooms are always clean - never had trouble finding an open machine, and the swimming pool isn't terribly packed during peak hours. I did the 3 year unlimited membership deal where you pay a large flat fee and you can go to any LA Fitness branch in the tri-state area.

I go to the Commack location.
It's a decent gym. I love the spin classes and normally go a few times a week just for them.
I know it's not your location but I've always been able to find a machine.
I have two kids and they love the child care there.

I just signed up! I have a totally crazy work schedule but I do plan to hit as many classes as possible.
