I've never heard of these methods. What do you do, drink them?

When my due date passed, I read about castor oil. I decided not to try it bc it also brings on diaherra and sometimes severe cramping. The last thing I wanted was the runs before going into labor.

Ick. Not sure if I'll be drinking any then. I wonder what kind of effects the primrose oil has? Probably the same? Another question...do you drink it straight up or do you mix it with something?

you can mix with whatever you want- i know at least 3-4 people that it has induced labor for.
The eveing primrose can be taken eitther orally or vaginally- it softens and ripens the cervix- which in turn helps to dialate-

Thanks. I'm not antsy enough yet to take it, but I'm getting there.

I've also heard that drinking raspberry leaf tea helps to bring on labor. I'm jut about ready to give it a shot - also, evening primrose you can get in capsules. Lots of midwives recommend both.

A friend of mine tried the castor oil thing. It worked! Though, she said she didn't even realize that she was in labor cause she thought it was just bad stomach cramping untill she called the DR and the the DR was like, "get your butt in here, you're having a baby!" I think she was almost 2 weeks overdue and was just wanting to try anything at that point!
