Tour at LIJ Katz?
Does anyone know when they usually give tours? Im not due til May but I would like to go soon. I had called last month and they just told me to call back in April. I never got a chance to ask when they usually give them. I think next time I call I will be lying about my due date

Supposedly they schedule them based on due date. I called and left a message and never got a return phone call -- I'm due at the end of April. I signed up for their one day, 8 hour childbirth/labor prep course which according to the description includes a full tour of labor and delivery along with check in procedures.

I'm due in May as well. My OB office said they usually start to schedule when you are around 30 weeks. I'm 24 weeks now.

I signed up for the childbirth prep class and, I believe, a tour is part of that. If you sign up for that class, you can also get the breastfeeding class free. Info is on their website!
ETA - I'm due at the end of April and am taking the class mid-March. Breastfeeding class at the end of this month. We also signed up for an infant CPR class mid-March.

When I went in January they made certain that everyone on the tour was due in either February or March.

I gave birth there last June. I think we did the tour in May. I think they only do them Wednesday nights if I remember. They also told me to call back later. Try calling back another day. Sometimes it just depends who picks up the phone. IMHO the tour was okay. I don't think I learned anything new or that helped me prepare better.

Tour at LIJ Katz?
I'm due May 22nd and just signed up today for the 8-hour class on Sunday, 4/12. Everything was online. My OB gave me a paper registration form to fill out with instructions on mailing a check, but they do everything online now

Tour at LIJ Katz?
Do they charge for the tour? I remember paying for the class and the tour was part of the class. But this is my 2nd so no class for me either. But when I had ds, the hospital was not yet redone. I want to do the tour, but...what number do I call?
