Best Pregnancy Book?
Just found out I'm pregnant and before I go buy 100 different books I would love to hear what you ladies found to be the best!

Best Pregnancy Book?
None! They're overwhelming and conflicting. But if you want to read a funny "pregnancy book", read Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs. It's the lighter side of pregnancy

I have "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" and I think it's pretty good.

Re: Best Pregnancy Book?
I'm not a fan of the books either but I have "pregnancy day by day". I love it because it has every day of your pregnancy in one or two pages each. It highlights what might be interesting that day. So for me reading one or two pages was way better. I'm on my second pregnancy with it and following through it again.

Best Pregnancy Book?
I bought the typical "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and read like 1 chapter. I'm now 28 weeks and haven't touched it in months. I much prefer the pregnancy app on my phone -- Pregnancy Plus. I splurged and bought the deluxe version for $4. Definitely worth it.

Re: Best Pregnancy Book?
I use apps mostly for the random updates and things but I did find that Belly Laughs was hysterical and worth the read and Baby Bargains was very helpful. FYI- if you can wait until April, Baby Bargains is due to release a newer edition.

Re: Best Pregnancy Book?
My favorite thing instead of the book is the Ovia Pregnancy app. Every day it's a cute little piece of info on what's going on w/ your baby and then every week you get 1 update for that week #, (what's going on w/ you and baby) and then it updates 1x/week on that same day with what the baby is size-wise. I'm 18 weeks yesterday so it changed to a Sweet Potato!

Me either. The first trimester of every book was horrifying! I have a twin pregnancy book and that's scary enough for me. LOL

Re: Best Pregnancy Book?
I bought, instead, a pregnancy journal…
It allowed me to write what I was going through - had questions for me to fill in and gave "tips" and helpful hints and "look out for…" heads up stuff.
It was yellow in color, spiral binding…
"The Pregnancy Journal: A Day-to-Day Guide to a Healthy and Happy Pregnancy"
Got it:
http://www.amazon.com/Pregnancy-Journal-Day---Day-Healthy/dp/081186989X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423614450&sr=8-1&keywords=pregnancy+journal
That was awesome.
Other books were either overwhelming, a waste of time, made me scared to death, or a combo of what other posters stated.
The journal was a great alternative!
