Manicure/Nail Polish
I know everyone has different views on getting Manicures and polishing nails during pregnancy but for those that do, do you use a certain polish for pregnancy.
I think I heard ZOYA is good but wondering if there was something I could pick up at CVS that was safe to use.

Manicure/Nail Polish
First pregnancy I didn't do shellac until the week was due. Essie and opi were always fine for me.
This pregnancy, probably do the same.

I always used my regular polish, but if you want Zoya, they sell it at Ulta now.
It is toxin free.

It was fine
My friends did too... I don't have it on my nails now so I figured why start. I'm not crazy with things but figured if I was doing my own nails I might as well be "safe".
I'm sure it's fine.

I use Zoya at home - but not because I'm pregnant - I use it all the time because I find it stays on the best.
I still go and get gel manis and don't worry about it. As long as you aren't working in a salon and breathing the fumes in all day long, you have nothing to worry about.

The only thing I avoided was that one top coat seiche vite with the weird chemical. I do t think they use it at salons though

As long as youre not doing your nails in a closet with no ventilation, it's fine.

Zoya is great. Also "Scotch" brand is the best for that, and RGB is the "five free" nail polish - higher end that doesn't have all the bad stuff.
If you need to choose between OPI and Essie, OPI has less toxins.

I brought own top coat, base coat and polish that I purchased at Whole Foods. The brand is called Mineral Fushion Doesn't have as many chemicals as the other brands. Honestly though, the smell in the nail salon really bothered me and I got an immediate headache. I've been super sensitive to smells this whole pregnancy. I don't know if I can go back.
