Clarisonic Mia 2
I've decided to finally just do it. I hate spending a lot of money on such a small thing, but I have read so many good reviews, It's time to just go for it.
I know there are quite a few versions of the Clarisonic, but it seems Mia2 is the most popular.
I looked at the 3, but do you really NEED that third speed? I have sensitive skin, so I'm not sure I would ever use it.
Any more information on these?
Thanks

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
i had the mia and it was fine but i ended up losing it when i moved somehow.
anyhow, i ended up buying the olay one for about $30 maybe and i love it just as much. the head is smaller and it's one speed, but works great.

Really? This is why I haven't just gone out and bought it. I keep seeing so many mixed reviews on cheaper ones. Thanks
Anyone else?

Wow. Ok. Thanks everyone. Maybe I'll try the olay one so I don't feel like I wasted too much $$$ if it doesn't do much.
Who are all those people in the reviews I read!? LoL
Thanks again

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
I had the olay brush and didn't like it. I hated that my hair would get caught in the brush when it was spinning. I thought it worked just oaky. I now have the clairisonic plus and love that it vibrates and doesn't spin so my hair doesn't get all tangled. I like that it's timed for how long to use it on your face. It also came with a body brush and long handle so I can use it on my back too. My skin feels so clean and smooth I really like it.

Clarisonic Mia 2
I have the Mia 2 as well and it made my sensitive skin break out, maybe it was bringing all the dirt out of my pores but I couldnt deal with the large pimples that I never had before.

Clarisonic Mia 2
I contemplated buying a Clairsonic but I went for the Olay one first just to make sure I liked it. And I love it! I use it every night before bed with my own cleanser and I feel that it really cleans my skin and makes it feel soft. It's like a mini massage on my face. Haven't felt the need to upgrade to the Mia since the Olay is working fine for me.

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
I have had both the Rite aid and CVS versions of this brush (I know they're not sonic) and I LOVE them. they have made a huge difference in my skin. I decided to take the plunge and order the Clinique version, b/c its rechargeable, and b/c it came with a bonus lol.
I really think, for me and my skin type, it really helped. It takes away the dry skin, gently exfoliates, etc. I love it (not specifically the Clarisonic, but the very idea of these cleansing brushes)

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
I have the Mia original--I have had it over a year & still love it. The one speed it comes with is fine. The 2nd speed on the 2 is slower, I believe.
I didn't notice anything at first, but then I started using it twice a day & started used it consistently. It isn't really an exfoliator--it is a deep cleaning brush. It will exfoliate a little, but really it just helps your cleanser work better. So, if I still have make up on, I will wash my face first & use the brush to get the residue off, or I will run the brush twice.
I also use a chemical exfoliate ( salicylic acid) for clogged pores.

It changed my skin. No going back. People have been complimenting me to the point I wonder what the heck my skin looked like before Mia 2.

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
I did a lot of research and decided on the Mia over the Mia 2 (wasn't interested in the slower speed). I cannot say enough good things about the Mia! I have had 2 cheaper versions and they didn't compare. The Mia completely changed my skin, wish I had bought it years ago!

Re: Clarisonic Mia 2
Thanks for all of your replies.
I have decided To go with a store brand for now(cvs-comparable to olay pro x) because it was $18. if it's doing what I feel it should, I may upgrade for even better results. I just can't justify spending that much money on something that gets such mixed reviews
I'll update when/if I start noticing a difference in my skin.
Thanks again
