Dr. Trongone or Great Neck OB/GYN?
After my surprise BFP I am looking for an ob/gyn and wanted to know your experiences with these two practices. Any info would be helpful, good or bad...
I am looking for a doctor that I can reach in case of emergency day or night and can take me on short notice (in case of emergency), that delivers their own babies (as opposed to an unknown on-call doctor at the hospital), that provides excellent care, that is an expert with high-risk pregnancies and c-sections (should the need arise), and that does all exams in-house (preferably, not a must).
If you recommend Great Neck OB/GYN, which doctor in the practice?

I highly recommend Great Neck OBGYN:) I love all 4 of the doctors.. Sadaty delivered me and she was amazing! The office is also extremely accommodating and very welcoming:) I never had any problems or issues. Good Luck:)

I was a patient of Great Neck OB/GYN and so are many of my cousins. The only reason I left was because it was too far.
My cousins have had their kids all delivered by either Sadaty or Rifkin and they love both of them. I highly recommend the practice. They're accommodating and the staff is really nice.

Trongone. He has so many nurses on staff that if you call during business hours you can always get an answer asap. If you call during non-business hours I've either gotten transferred through to him immediately or gotten a call back in a short time (less than 30 minutes). He delivered both my kids and I had wonderful experiences both times. He has a new partner that I know nothing about, though, although I'm sure he's great also.

Great Neck OB!
I honestly can't say enough great things about them. In due with #3 next month and all 4 OBs are excellent. rifkin is my absolute fav. But I really love them all.

Great neck ob/gyn. My doctor is Dr. Kaufman but I have seen Rifkin and Santoyo. I like all 3 of them. If you have an emergency after hours...you call the service and someone usually gets back to you within 20 minutes. They will always give you a same day emergency appointment...it just might not be your doctor. They also always have a doctor from their practice on call at north shore Manhasset.

Dr. Trongone or Great Neck OB/GYN?
I see Trongone and Petrocelli. They are a smaller practice which I prefer. You are seen by both doctors during your pregnancy and are able to established a relationship with both. I cant decide who I like better, they are both great and so are the nurses and staff. Couldn't imagine going elsewhere. My friend is a nurse at NSUH Manhasset and she recommended the practice to me. She and (according to her) most of her coworkers use them which I think says a lot. I would do try to have a consult with both practices if you are torn. It's probably the best way to see who is the best fit for you. ..good luck!
