Re: Plastic surgeon for birthmark/mole
I had this done about 12 years ago.
My dermatologist (Dr. Donna Serure) referred me to Dr. Nabil Kiridly in Smithtown.
My derm had moles and birth marks removed from her face by Dr. Kiridly and she highly recommended him. My birth mark, at the time, was in a tricky spot as it was near my temple, next to my right eye. So when looking at me dead on it stuck out. That's what bothered me most. Dr. K noticed this immediately and was painstakingly careful and meticulous about that fact when removing it... Not wanting to leave any indentation that it had been there. He stitched it up like a pro, gave me a script for a really good scarguard type of cream. And it is literally like it was never there. And the groove flows naturally with the shape of my face which is the most amazing part. It was about $600 at the time to have it done but it was worth every penny. I'm so happy and was thrilled with him.
I had originally went to my derm asking her to remove it...she referred me to him since it was on my face and she had similar ones removed by him herself. I remember her saying, for something like that you go to Dr. Kiridly!
Hope that helps!
