Girl Scout Camp Edey
Has anyone sent their child there? The themes look cute for this year, so I'm thinking of sending my DD for a week. How is the supervision? Do you know the ratio of counselor to campers? Did your child get a lot of mosquito bites? (I know it's woodsy, and my DD swells up really bad from bites). How about ticks? TIA!

Girl Scout Camp Edey
My daughter has gone the past 2 years. The counselors were great with the girls. I don't remember the exact ratio, but I was absolutely comfortable with it...I want to say maybe 10-12 girls per counselor and junior counselor. I never had any issues with bug bites or ticks. It is a great camp!

I did day camp and summer camp there as a kid and loved it! Great memories!

My daughter went all summer last year and loved it. I didn't ask about the ratio, but always felt there was enough staff, from what I saw any time I went there. She never got any bug bites that I noticed while there. She can't wait to go again this year.

I don't know the info for this year off the top of my head, but the hours last year were 9-4 and I think around $175 per week, which included snacks and lunch.
