36 week cramping
I'm having slight period like cramps on and off today. I've been drinking lots of water and trying to calm down. I didn't feel this with my first at all so I'm a little nervous. I'm also slightly nauseous but I don't know if it's from my atrocious heart burn. I'm 36 weeks 3 days. What should I do? My dr appt isn't until Friday. Should I be worried?

I have had the same exact symptoms since Sunday and I will be 37 weeks tomorrow. I mentioned to my doc yesterday and she told me when it happens, if there is no pattern to the cramping, that I should just try to put my feet up and drink lots of fluids. She said these symptoms could be signs of labor but they could also just be that I am at the end and everything is crammed in there.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Cramping is normal at the end. And you are so close to the 37 weeks where you are basically full term.
At that point in my pregnancy I only worried about finished movement and bleeding.

Cramps at regular intervals are contractions. If they are coming at regular intervals or if you start spotting, call your OB. That's how I knew I was in labor at 38 weeks.

36 week cramping
i had the same thing last week...i'm 37 weeks. doctor said its normal. her head is really low pushing on my pelvis so that could be it. drink water and rest.

my moms Dr said, if you lay down and hydrate and its still happening call the Dr.
