Need comfortable shoes
I have recently started having to "dress" for work every day, and now after 5 weeks, my feet are killing me. Not my whole foot, just the big and little toes! Even shoes I have that are square in the front hurt these little babies! Can you recommend comfortable shoes that I can get that don't cost a fortune?
Or do I just have to wait til I develop a callus in those spots? LOL!

Need comfortable shoes
Maybe wide width would help?

Re: Need comfortable shoes
I don't think so. My heels are already slipping out of the ones I have sometimes.

Re: Need comfortable shoes
I have the same problem! I have yet to find a comfortable shoe...I am only comfortable in my dressy winter boots. I have tried SO many types of shoes. The one shoe I have yet to try is Tieks: http://tieks.com/
They are super expensive. I have been holding out for years! Maybe someday...

Sounds like your foot is sliding forward, squishing the toes. Try some ball of foot pads in the shoes to keep them from sliding.

Re: Need comfortable shoes
I honestly believe there is truly no such thing as a comfortable shoe. Other than a boot, or a sandal or a sneaker.
I have tried it ALL. Everything from cheap to expensive.
By the end of the day I am in excruciating pain no matter what.
For some reason boots never hurt my feet though.
I think maybe I have to accept that my feet aren't made for a pump of any kind or type.

I agree. I would even check to see if a 1/2 size smaller might be better when you buy new shoes.

Re: Need comfortable shoes
Round toe box is the most comfortable for me. You have to find a brand that fits you well and buy a bunch of those shoes

Re: Need comfortable shoes
I've had luck with Ann Klein Flex brand. Maybe not the hippest, but they're great for me for work.
I have these in black leather, patent leather and a few other colors. they are sooo comfortable
