Beachwaver curling iron
Does anyone have one of these? I saw something on it advertised on the computer today and saw great reviews on Ulta.com. I can never curl my hair right and was interested in this.

Beachwaver curling iron
I wanted to love this, I got it and ran home to try it. I cant even tell you how scary it is. It got stuck in my hair and I tried to pull it out and as I did that I burned the side of my forehead. I had the hugest blister ever and it is still healing 2 weeks later. I returned it.

OMG...sorry this happened to you. Thanks for sharing. I was unsure how something like this would be for me. I can kind of see myself having a problem with it.

Yeah I can see this being a disaster in fine hair. My hair tends to get caught up in stuff like that very easily. Also, I watched a video on the Ulta website and the girl had fine-ish hair and to be honest I thought it looked kind of like shitt when she was done. Like loose flat curls that would fall out in about 10 minutes.
I think it would be great if you have nice thick hair though.

thanks it was awful and still hurts. I unplugged it fast and pulled it. Also I have thin hair, not sure if yours is thick and that makes a difference. I am pretty good with irons and curlers, I just couldnt figure this thing out.

I would youtube videos of how to curl beachy waves. I actually use my straightening iron to do it. Works so much better than a curling iron. My hairdresser gave me the advice and said to watch you tube videos......it worked.

That thing scares the crap out of me. I have visions of my hair getting stuck and burning off like in Little Women.
Irrational fear aside,if your hair doesn't hold a curl with a regular curling iron I don't think it would with this either, it's just a curling iron that spins.
