Induction Anxiety
I was induced at 39 weeks. I was walking around 4cm dilated for over 2 weeks at that point. I had the pitocin starting at 5am, had my water broken a little after 7am, and got my epidural at 7:30am. Had DS with no pain at 10:43 am. I had a wonderful experience art North Shore in Manhasset.

Mine was similar. Got to hospital around 11:30/12pm. Did cervadil, pushed for 10 minutes and had my daughter at 5:46pm.
It was much better than my 19 hours of labor and almost 2 hours of pushing to have my son.

I might have to be induced.... this happens to me! I was in labor with my daughter for 15 hours!

What an amazing story! I am delivering here. Curious what made them induce you at 39 weeks?

Re: Induction Anxiety
I was 3cm dilated at my first internal at 37w. At 39 weeks i was STILL 3cm and induced due to a medical blood disorder and steroids bringing me to a safe delivery option. Started pitocin at 8am. They broke my water around noon. Started pushing at 5 and she was born at 6:18.

Re: Induction Anxiety
I had a pretty good induction. It was almost 19 hours but went along smoothly. The epidural helped with the pain once my water broke, so I'd recommend that. Pushing was only a little over half hour.
Good Luck!!!
