Botox?
I am 38 and am starting to obsess over the lines on my forehead. I am contemplating getting botox or something like it. I may schedule and appt. with my dermatologist to ask about it but curious if anyone has done it. I'm very nervous and don't want to look plastic lol. Reviews? Pricing? Anyone you'd recommend? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Re: Botox?
I sell a needle-less alternative to botox- Rodan + Fields Acute Care- its been featured in all the magazines (Allure, Harper's Bazaar, etc) because it really works.
I'll pm you and I'll get you a sample to try out if you like. I saw results from the first patch that I used.
It's also about 1/3 the price of botox and has a full 60-day money back guarantee if for any reason you are unsatisfied.
eta- some of my pics were too big to attach so there is a separate album under my name with more Image Attachment(s):

Re: Botox?
I recommend a cosmetic surgeon for this.
While I love my derm and I do think SHE is qualified to do this -- I know that there are a lot of derms who get a training in this and aren't as qualified, in my opinion, to administer this as say a board-certified plastic surgeon. And honestly, depending where, you could pay the same or similar!
So, I recommend someone who is board certified in cosmetic procedures/surgery...
Dr. James Romanelli in Huntington is either double or triple board certified.
That's who I would go to - consult is free.
Just FYI -- I HAVE NOT HAD BOTOX, and I have not had him do anything like that on me. But I have friends who have gone to him and one of them, I was even in the room with her at the time she had it done. I was very impressed. I thought, if I ever need this - he's the guy!

Re: Botox?
You absolutely want to see a plastic surgeon for a consult. Look at their books of before and afters' and you'll get a sense about how conservative or not the doctor is. No cream or serum is going to give you the result that botox or fillers will.

We actually use clinical trials and the picture in my album on the flier is from that exact trial. One box with patches used every other night was proved to work in as little as one application and have lasting results for up to 2 months.

MLM companies often use false claims, so I am going to take this with a grain of salt. It is simply not possible for a skincare product to deliver the same results as injections.
Also the first picture is misleading, since you cannot see her whole face it is quite possible she is squinting and scrunching her face.

There are more pictures in my album. The picture above is my personal results. The other pictures from the clinic tests are in my albums.
Also MLM are pretty heavily regulated, so trust me, we go out of our way NOT to give false claims.
I had offered a free trial for the original poster- anyone is also able to take me up on that offer. Prove me wrong!

Re: Botox?
To the OP who was asking about BOTOX...
I'm sorry this has gone off in another direction.
But I do hope you are able to consult with some doctors who you like and feel comfortable with.

Botox?
I agree with danielle. I am considering botox and will use dr. Romanelli who has done another procedure on me. I would only go to a plastic surgeon and he is amazing

Re: Botox?
I used Romanelli for my mommy makeover and love him but was told over the phone when I inquired recently that he does NOt do the Botox himself - at least not any more - he has a nurse practitioner do it. I think this is pretty commonplace. op I took the plunge a few months ago and love my results :) I go to north shore cosmetic medical center. The supervising doc is a facial plastic surgeon but injections are done by an NP.
Also regarding r+f acute care, I heard it's great but it's over $200 for a month supply. Botox is cheaper over time!

Re: Botox?
Thanks so much everyone! Good to know about the plastic surgeon! I'm really leaning towards going for it! I just feel like I need a little refreshing lol. I am scared though.
