Need a NEW look
I feel so fat in all my clothes this spring
looking for an inexpensive new look
I am 5ft, chunky and busty
I like tunics, but not sure i like them on me
and looking for high wasted capri's

Re: Need a NEW look
I haven't done in awhile because it can get pricy, but what about signing up for Stitchfix?
They often send things you wouldn't normally gravitate to, that not everyone else has and tend to look decent since you are giving all your specifics to the stylist.
I also am shorter and curvaceous and tend to stick to basics but dress up my outfits with a shoe to give me a little lift and fun accessories.

Re: Need a NEW look
I love tunics too but they make me look bigger. I tend to buy more fitted looking stuff even though I'm chunkier then I like cc it clings to my boobs and helps show my waist.
You need to just try on stuff and find what you think looks best on you and then that's the style clothing to look for going forward.
It's really not easy when you are uncomfortable with your body. I'm having a similar issue right now bc I'm way bigger then my norm in spring/summer.

I have tried stitch fix. And the last fixes were horrible
I know I wish I can snap my fingers and be in the size I was prior to my son Nothing fits the same or firs at all anymore

Try dress barn! Believe it or not, I've had good luck there recently.

Same body type. I wear dresses all summer long.
I also found that Old Navy's short are good this year. Last year they had a horrible year. The boyfriend shorts are amazing. And slimming.

Re: Need a NEW look
Maxi dresses are your friend! I was avoiding them like the plague but finally found one last year that was the perfect length and found two more this year at Forever 21!. Just make sure to define your waist somehow (belt, dress hits under the boobs, etc).

yes they have been my go too store lately. I'm bigger but they make stuff to flatter your body and hide some issues lol. They have such pretty colors and patterns and have short length pants and petites. they are a little on the expensive side for my normal everyday wear (sahm here) but if it fits and flatteres me then I go for it

Re: Need a NEW look
I had a lot of success at Dress Barn after I gave birth and was still not comfortable with my weight and body. They definitely had very flattering stuff there.
