Re: Morning Sickness
Yup. I'm a SAHM too, but babysit a couple kids (as well as my 4 yr old DD). First trimester was a little rough. It was like a constant feeling of car sickness and zero energy. I felt so guilty for not being able to do all the fun projects and activities I normally got to do with them. It's finally easing up quite a bit though now that I'm 12wks.

Re: Morning Sickness
Sorry you are feeling so lousy. With DS I had it really bad until 16 weeks. This time it only started to subside at 20 weeks.. and I still have period of nausea that make me gag! At least I can eat now though. Hang in there!

Morning Sickness
Me. I've had it since 6 weeks and I'm 11 weeks now. Before Zofran I was vomiting 5-10 times a day. You might want to look into it- I'm not a fan of meds but I was vomiting so violently that I went to the ER with spotting and was told I had a subchorionic hematoma, likely caused by the spasms from the vomiting.
Are you able to keep water down? I am having such a horrible time with it and now I have a UTI (probably because I'm not drinking/peeing enough) so I'm on antibiotics that I take 4 times a day on an empty stomach. As you can imagine, I keep neither water nor the antibiotics down for very long. So, do whatever you can to drink fluids- you do NOT want to be in the situation!

OMG that sounds terrible!!! I hope you get some relief soon. If this is your first baby I promise it gets better. Well actually it's replaced by some other interesting complaints but I would say this is the hardest part.
I'm actually not throwing up. I could and want to most of the day but I haven't yet. Im so thirsty all day. The dry mouth makes me nauseous and so does water! I hope you feel better!!

Re: Morning Sickness
I can definitely relate. It has been awful. I'll be 8 weeks on Friday. I'm also home with my 2 yo and 11 month old DDs and it has been so hard. This time it is worse than my previous pregnancies. I'm nauseated all day, everyday. I have the dry mouth thing going on too and it make water taste gross. I'm trying to eat small meals but nothing seems to be helping. I've been drinking water with lemon but I think that's contributing to the weird dry mouth feeling and making everything taste off. I've also been using the preggie pops. Don't know what else to do. I'm praying for some relief soon. I feel bad about the kids too. I just want to lay around all day and I have no energy to take them out.

This is exactly how I feel. Everything I eat tastes weird!! Jolly ranchers help but only until while it's in my mouth. My kids are little also. Almost 3 and 19 months. Hopefully it gets better soon. I didn't feel better until 16 weeks with my DD

Re: Morning Sickness
My MS is MUCH worse this time around...I think I am nearing the hump at almost 14 weeks now but it was bad from 6 weeks on...not to mention I caught a stomach virus at 11 weeks which was horrible!! My DR had me take zantac in the afternoon and that did help a little.
Hang in there...
