Window treatments
I'm sorry for blowing up the board with all my home decorating questions... but we just moved and my new house looks like an homage to 1975. Our next project is figure out what to do with all the windows...
My daughter's new bedroom has two windows that make a 90 degree angle. I thought I'd put curtains/sheers there, but don't see that working well. Any ideas?
My MBR has windows on a corner and another window over the radiator. What do I put on those??
We have an L-shaped LR/DR. The LR portion has a large bay window and the DR has several long, narrow windows. We took down the ancient blinds and the room has a ton of light. What can I put on both these windows that'll give us some privacy w/o sacrificing the light?

Re: Window treatments
For your daughters bedroom, I would do something like this...
I love natural shades for privacy. It warms up a room and still lets beautiful filtered light thru.

I have these bamboo roman shades in my family room. Just be aware that they do not provide privacy at all; you can see right into the room from outside. I did add panels like the image above, so that does solve the issue of privacy at night. I love the way it looks and they do filter the light beautifully. If you want to go the bamboo shade route, I purchased them from Overstock. They were pretty inexpensive but well made and so easy to install!! I did them by myself and I am far from handy!
