5 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

I am 5 weeks today. I have had 4 m/c's 3 of which were recently. My beta numbers were good. 287 at 4 weeks and 2 days later 644.. My boobs have been killing me and today I woke up and they didn't hurt at all.. I am so worried b/c thats happened before in the early m/c. Has anyone had this happen and the baby be fine? I have my first sono on Thursday but I'm really hoping for just peace of mind right now and that this is normal..

5 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

My boobs tingled a little early on then absolutely nothing until well into my second trimester. They are easing up now as I'm in my 3rd but symptoms definitely come and go so try not to use that as a guide to a viable pregnancy.

Try not to worry. When do you go back to your doctor?

5 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

I remember early in my pregnancy, my boobs just stopped hurting too. I was freaked (I had a mc prior), and even posted about it here when they started hurting again (a few weeks later). DD is now 3.
I wish you the best!

Re: 5 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

First off, I'm glad you get to go in tomorrow for betas. That will help a lot, I'm sure. Early pregnancy is NOT fun, especially if you've experienced miscarriages in the past. I understand completely how you're feeling. It IS scary to suddenly lose symptoms. I've had losses that I knew were coming because of lost symptoms and I've also had losses when everything else was fine (I've even continued to have sore boobs and nausea DURING the miscarriage) so I can say from experience that symptoms are NOT a tell-all by any means. With this pregnancy right now (I'm 13wks along) my symptoms seemed to come and go. My boobs were not too bad, but some days they ached and other days were fine! In fact, they were COMPLETELY fine sometime around 6-8wks. That symptom just gone and all was well! So hang in there. Try hard not to read too much into things (yeah right. I never could manage that).

My symptoms came and went until about 8 weeks. Cramps, frequent peeing, sore boobs, nausea… some days I had all, some days I had one or two, some days I had none.

I had 4 m/c's before this pregnancy too so I know how scary it is. Glad you're going for a beta; hope that reassures you. Good luck!

That was scary to me about the early weeks. Symptoms would come and go. Just try to relax. Easier said than done.

Yeah, to me. My boobs didn't bother me at all during my second trimester, so not the case during my first trimester. Now that I'm on my 3rd, they don't hurt, but my nipples feel a bit sensitive.

Re: 5 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

5 weeks is definitely a stressful time. Mine hurt a little (and I have big boobs!) but they didn't hurt for long...and i'm 36 weeks today. Don't stress, just try to be patient until the next appointment Chat Icon
