XPost: Italian restaurant recommendations for private party
Hi! Looking for recommendations for a GOOD Italian restaurant for a private afternoon party. About 45-50 people. Looking for something that isn't too expensive, looking to stay within a budget of less than $45 per person.
In Nassau or Queens preferably.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Primo Amore on Francis Lewis Blvd in Bayside. Also, Trattoria 35 in Bayside.

I just went to an event at La Piazza in Merrick. I think there are a few locations on the island. This was for lunch too. The food was great and the best was I didn't leave there stuffed and gross feeling like I do with a lot of Italian places.
They had a buffet style where they put a bit of everything you wanted on your plate. Pasta was also more of a side and not the main dish.
You could go back for seconds but they pretty much closed up the buffet after everyone was served.
Wait staff also very friendly and attentive.

I had DH 50th party there in September, very reasonable and the food was amazing!!
Everyone is still raving about it.

Mio Posto they have 2 locations Oceansdie and Hicksville. I have been to numerous parties at the Hicksville location it was wonderful and great prices too
