Yeast infection in 3rd trimester?
Has anyone had a yeast infection in the third trimester? I am 34 weeks and I def have one bc im pretty prone to them normally. Haven't had one this whole pregnancy until now! I'm pretty sure monistat is ok! Anyone know if we have to do the 7 day one or can I do the 3 day?

7 day Monistat. I know tmi but I've had a couple this pregnancy. The 7 day dose is best because it spreads the medication out oppose to one strong dose(1day) at once.
Feel better

I had one second trimester. Called the OB and he told me 7-day Monistat.

Monistat actually makes mine worse. The Dr. called in a prescription for a 3 day cream that you insert.

I had one 2nd trimester and used Monistat-7. The 3 and 1 days are too strong to use during pregnancy. It caused some spotting but cleared up the infection.

I would check with your doc. Mine gave me a 3 day prescription in my 2nd trimester. Feel better!
