bathroom
i think i need to redo my bathroom. top to bottom, all in one kind of deal (i dont want to find a plumber/tile person/etc etc etc)
can anyone suggest a company that is cheap and good? Eastern suffolk. I would also consider refinishing but i cant get any companies to come out to me or call back if they are closer!
i will probably be doing it next winter- is this a bad idea due to pipes freezing if plumbing not in use as much?

Both my parents and I used alure for our bathrooms. In and out in 5 days. It's the way to go.

It's hard to give an approximate cost, your bathroom might be much smaller or bigger than my bathroom You don't have anything to lose by calling them and getting an estimate. They come to your house, and you pick everything out. A friend of mine used a different contractor and he had to go to home depot a few times, the contractors only worked a few hours a day. His bathroom took almost a month to complete. I don't think he saved a ton of money.

Re: bathroom
We just had Alure come quote us. I feel like they are way overpriced and I do not like how it's all a "package" so you are very limited in your choices (vanity, toilets, finishes, etc.). Would love some other reccs.

a few years ago my mom had her bathroom redone. She called a majority of the contractors that advertise in the local pennysaver or hometown shopper. They came and gave her quotes and she chose someone. There are lots of contractors that advertise all in 1 deals in these types of papers.

Stay far away from Alure!! Their commercial of a bathroom in 5 days is BULLSH*T! Took them a month to do a bathroom. Theres more to the story but they are awful to deal with.

A professional can't fully gut a bathroom for that price. Mine is tiny and we did the work ourselves and it was about that v

Re: bathroom
I had Alure give me an estimate for my bathroom (regular size with tub and some custom work, plus new door, molding and plumbing) and she said around $20000. My usual contractor quoted me $6000 or a little more for labor only.
The only good thing about using a company like Alure is they come back (or in my case) to fix any problems.
